Frozen Rose

As far as I can determine, that's an actual rose, not a plastic one, that has been frozen, preserving it in a state of suspended animation.

What I find thought provoking is that the rose will probably appear nearly perfect for months, until the spring thaw comes. Then it will wilt and be destroyed nearly instantly.
